About Gayle Iuppa, President of Hidden Treasures, Inc.
Gayle Iuppa, is the president and owner of Hidden Treasures, which is located in Rochester, New York. When her children were young, Gayle was a stay at home mom, and dressmaker in her spare time. As the kids grew older, she went into the drapery and interior design business, working for five decorators in Rochester, NY.
The interior design business naturally led Gayle and her husband, John, to explore the area's auctions and estate sales. This is where her love and knowledge of antiques, treasures and collectibles blossomed and grew. As she became more knowledgeable about household sales, she went to work for Hidden Treasures in 1975, and eventually became the manager. She bought the business in 1988, and has turned it into Rochester's premiere household and estate sale business.
Hidden Treasures runs over 100 highly successful sales each year. It is a real family affair with Gayle's husband, son, brother, and many cousins pitching in to create a profitable business for both her clients and herself.
In addition to setting up, organizing and running estate sales, Gayle is also a highly qualified appraiser.
Gayle loves the challenge and rewards of working with the public and is planning to document her experiences for a future book.
